A Golfing Event for Oil and Gas Executives and supporting companies, held for the first time in Phuket and raising funds for Phuket Sunshine Village. Look for further details in the Phuket Gazette and on PGTV, and on the Web address at left.
The Event Format
- Dates of Play 3rd & 4th April 2009
- Competition Format – 18 Hole Team Texas Scramble (4 Balls) at Loch Palm 3rd April by Shotgun Start.
- Individual 18 Hole Stableford (4 Balls) at Red Mountain 4th April by Shotgun Start.
- Handicaps – Stableford is 3/4 of Full Handicap (max 28)
Prizes:
- Best Team Texas Scramble (1st, 2nd and 3rd Teams)
- Best Single Stableford score (1st, 2nd and 3rd Place)
- Best Team Stableford (best 2 from 4 results) (1st, 2nd and 3rd Teams)
- Nearest the Pin (each day)
- Longest Drive (each day)
- Suprise On Course Challenges (each day)

- Arrival 2nd April 2009 (P.M.)
- Arrival of Overseas Guests (flight details required prior to arrival for airport collection)
- Evening Cocktail Party at Club Andaman Beach Resort from 9pm onwards
- Day One 3rd April 2009
- Course Departure from Hotel by Bus Transfer to Loch Palm 10.00am – 10.15am
- Team Registration & Goody Bag Collection in Club House 10.30am – 11.00am
- Team Tee Off Times – Shotgun Start
- Hotel Departure from Course by Bus Transfer, 60mins after last team finishes
- Evening Free to enjoy the delights of Soi Bangla, or whatever rocks your boat.
- Day Two 4th April 2009
- Course Departure from Hotel by Bus Transfer to Red Mountain 10.00am – 10.15am
- Individual Registration & Goody Bag Collection in Club House 10.30am – 11.00am
- Team Tee Off Times – Shotgun Start
- Hotel Departure from Course by Bus Transfer, 30mins after last team finishes
- Prize Giving Dinner and Charity Auction starting at 8pm (International Food Buffet)
- Day Three 5th April 2009
- BBQ Brunch from 11am – 1pm in Hotel
- Check out time of 2pm
- Transfers back to Phuket International Airport (flights details required by hotel no later than 4th)
